One of my biggest struggles in my business is whether or not to hone in on a specific niche. Part of me knows that the most successful craft-world business produce one item, and do it extremely well. I definitely have my idols - Cody at Lu & Ed, Stacy at Fresh Stitches, Rohn at Rohn Strong Designs, and Kristen at Nature Junkie to name a few. The one thing they all have going for them is a strong force in their market for their specific items. Whether it's clothing design, eco-friendly housewares, or awesome stuffed animals - these guys kill it.
My problem - I'm completely eclectic, get bored way too easily, love the constant challenge of making new things and trying out new crafts. So this morning, after again bringing up this great debate, Derik and I determined that my goal is to Continue Creating and Cultivating Relationships in the Cool Creative Community that I have become a part of. Isn't alliteration cool?
So for now, you will get all of my crafting goodness and an array of styles, ideas, and things that all become such a big part of me and what Eny Time Creations is all about. For me, it's creativity that is my passion - and how could I ever put that in a pigeonhole?
What about you? Do you have one passion, or an array of things that drive your creative mind?
